Before I start, let me state unequivocally that I am not… I repeat…. NOT… in any way, shape or form a food writer, chef, critic, food blogger or anything remotely simple. I’m also not trying to be or become one. That is not what these posts are about.
I love food and I know some most amazing people who perform magic and miracles in their kitchens. Things I can only dream about, and on days that I am very brave/bored/inspired, try to recreate.
I love to cook (and even more to bake) but that doesn’t mean I’m any good at it. But sometimes I manage to (usually completely unintentionally) whip up something amazing. And then I promptly forget how I did it and any future attempts at recreation end in failure and burnt pots and pans. So, I have decided to start writing down my ”creations”, in the event that they turn out quite successfully and I may want to know how I did it.
I will occasionally post these gastronomic explorations of mine (like the “stoup” post that will follow shortly), for anyone to attempt (at their own risk), but mostly for feedback, opinions, suggestions and hints. I’m always ready to learn something new. I’m no Nigella. But if I were….
